Backpack canada (part 3)

Day 4

After having great time in Ottawa. Next morning we left for Quebec it took around 4hrs 30 min. As i told you in earlier post that Canada is a country where it makes a wonderful road trip. Away from all noise,traffic jams, everywhere greenery with maple tress.

Around 1:00 pm we reached Quebec city had our lunch. I would give you a little information about the quebec city.

Quebec is a second most populous province of canada after Ontario. Its a predominantly a french speaking population and its there offical language. Quebec city is a very much french. Especially if you are in old town. You get the feeling that you are somewhere in france. It give you a beautiful combination of European style and canadian tradition.

So i had only few hours to explore the quebec city i wish if i could have more time. So in less time we thought to explore the more of old town of quebec.

So our first stop was a scenery stop where u can get a wonderful scene of quebec.

Next we did a city tour of quebec city. Where we discover historical treasures and wonderful atmosphere of quebec city. “Joie de vivre”. On our guided city tour we saw upper and lower towns of quebec, halloween park, plains of Abraham, chateau frontenac. so these were certain place we did quick guided city tour.

Then we had some time and planned to visit petit champlain. Its such a beautiful street with charming shops and restaurants. Walking in petit champlain its very easy to forget that you are in north america it will give you a feeling that you are in france or Belgium. This street has little surprises everywhere. You can find many tiny shops,restaurants and beautiful small park. Great atmosphere and lovely peoples. It’s a must visit place if you are in Quebec city. I specially loved this place and that great time. If you are in quebec i would recommend you to please visit this place.

And if you are in canada and specially in quebec you must try maple syrup. I had maple sugaring candy and it taste incredibly tasty.

So this was my day spend in quebec city and it was quite amazing got to learn many things.

Finally after a long day its ends with a delicious yummy food.
